It seems like a lot of money to just camp.
The infrastructure, entertainment, and staff at Riders Ranch are intended to
provide a good value alternative to hotel rooms that may be remote from
the action. In addition, the cost for the entire week is comparable
to the cost of one night in a hotel.
Is the site going to be host to an ongoing wild party, or can we get some
sleep?
Yes and no. There will be parts of the site that are quieter, and
other places where it's okay to be up all night. The camper can choose.
Can I ship my camping gear to Riders Ranch, and then back home?
Yes, we will accept packages and hold for pick-up (address will be
provided shortly). We will also have a carrier on site for shipping gear
back home.
Do I need to keep my bike at my campsite?
Some sites are more accessible than others, and many campers will keep
their rides close by. However, we will provide fenced, lit, and patroled bike parking
areas on paved surface for those choosing to use them.
Can I trailer in my bike and then drive my pick-up in and out all day long (and drive everybody nuts)?
No, you can either park your support vehicle in the camping area and
leave it until you go, or you can unload it and then park outside of the campground for
daily use. We will not permit a lot of 4-wheel traffic on site.
How about cooking at the campsite?
Stoves and grills are allowed, but as campfires have a tendency to get out of
hand, we will not allow them. We will have a 24-hour store on site and ample vendors from which
to buy food and drinks, along with live music and more.
What are the campsites like?
Tent camping is on grass or meadowland. There will be remote access to services like water and toilets and also a central service village with showers, movies,
music, food and more.
Why should we stay at Riders Ranch?
It's all about good people having a good time for a good value. We anticipate
what riders want and then provide more than they expect - FREE nite-owl
movies, live music and shows and an opportunity to party where you sleep.
Brought to you by the site design team from Woodstock '94, camping design team from Woodstock '99, and 1998 Riders Ranch group at the Harley 95th anniversary, we kick
it up a notch. The only thing missing is you and your friends.
