Why can't I keep my van at my tent site?
Due to camping demand and space limitations, we cannot allow support
vehicles, (trucks, vans, trailers, school busses) to be parked in the tent
camping area. Camping materials must be dropped off, and support vehicles
parked in the remote lot.
What's the deal with the remote lot?
The remote lot will be off-site, but within walking distance. A free
shuttle may be provided to and from the remote lot depending upon location.
Unlimited in and out will be OK. Sleeping in the remote lot will not be
permitted. This lot shall be patrolled, but no responsibility for belongings
is assumed. The weekly fee for parking in the remote lot is $30. A dropped
trailer is one unit, a pickup is one unit, a pickup with trailer is one
unit.
Can our club register as a group and camp together?
Yes, no problem. We will have blocks of campsites marked off, and we will give special consideration for all groups that want to be together. Please, no colors on the Riders Ranch site. We are all one big family on this special birthday week, so let's put our differences aside, and celebrate what makes us the same.
Why shouldn't we just camp in a state park instead?
If you don't like listening to live music every day, having easy access to all sorts of vendors and exhibits and a 24-hour convenience store, watching free night owl movies, meeting people who like what you like, looking over thousands of bikes, showing off yours, going to special events, partying where you sleep (which is only 20 minutes from downtown Mil-freakin'-waukee celebration action!), then please, just go camp next to Ma and Pa Kettle with their 7 screaming rugrats in Jellystone with our blessing. :-)
